Please note. We are encouraging visitors to the One Planet Festival to use public transport to get here wherever possible, or by road if their conveyance is low carbon.

1. By rail

Click here to access Trainline website for train times and ticket bookingFrom London take the Virgin NW service from Euston. Travel time approx 2 hours 45 minutes.

From Edinburgh or Glasgow take the Virgin NW service to either Birmingham New Street or London Euston. Travel time about 2 ½ hours.

From the Midlands change at Birmingham New Street for direct service. Travel time about 1 ½ hours. From SW take Bristol service direct. Travel time about 3 hours.

2. By Bus

do a bus from most major cities in Scotland that stops at Preston. Train from Preston to Lancaster takes 20 minutes and runs 2 to 3 times an hour depending on time of day.

3. By road

From the South take the M6 up to junction 33 heading north on the A6 (about 4 miles from junction to centre of Lancaster)

From the North take the M6 down to junction 34 heading south on the A683 (about 1 mile from junction to centre of Lancaster).
